Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Vice President of Operations to oversee operations and drive growth in a fast-paced, expanding environment. You will work closely with the CEO to improve efficiency, manage teams, and ensure operational excellence as we continue to grow. A strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in US business environments, especially those who have lived or worked in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments (WordPress, Shopify, QA, SEO, IT & Admin, HR, Recruitment, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service) to ensure optimal performance and efficiency, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and high-quality client delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to design and execute short and long-term business strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across various functions, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Client Success & Relationships: Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, particularly those in the US, ensuring service delivery aligns with their business needs and cultural expectations.
- Scalability & Growth: Develop and implement scalable processes to support rapid growth, ensuring that operations can expand seamlessly as the company grows.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Work closely with the CFO and finance team to manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure that operations are cost-effective.
- Business Acquisition Integration: Lead the integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with E2M’s operations and culture.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts between departments such as marketing, sales, HR, and technology to drive efficiency, innovation, and growth.
- Risk Management: Identify operational risks and work to mitigate them through strategic planning and proactive problem-solving.
- Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and implement new AI technologies or systems that can improve operational efficiency and support future growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head of Operations, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of US business practices and culture; preference for US-returnees.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage a fast-growing team.
- Track record of scaling operations in a growing company.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
